Attendee terms of use

Last updated: 17 June 2026

All Along exists to bring people together. Thoughtful matching means the people you meet are more likely to be worth your time, which makes events and communities more rewarding, more enjoyable and more useful. The connections that follow can spark ideas, work and friendships that might never have happened otherwise. Our aim is simple: to make the events and communities you are part of even better. We are here to do good, and we would like the world to be a little more connected for it. In that spirit, there are a few things we need to make you aware of before you start.

All Along ("we", "us", "our")

These terms govern your use of All Along as someone who has been invited to be matched at an event or community. By creating a profile, completing the matching form, or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't complete a profile.

1. Who can use All Along

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By using it, you confirm that you are.

2. What All Along does

All Along is an introductions tool. An organiser has invited you to be matched with other people at their event or community. We suggest connections based on the profile information you choose to give us. We then show you, and the people you're matched with, each other's profile details so you can decide whether to connect.

We are only the introduction. We are not part of any conversation, meeting, relationship or transaction that follows. We don't arrange, supervise, attend or take any part in what happens after a match.

3. How you must behave

When you use the service, you must:

  • Give accurate information about yourself and not impersonate anyone.
  • Treat other people with respect and not harass, threaten, abuse, defraud, discriminate against, or endanger anyone.
  • Use other people's contact details and information only to connect with them in good faith, and not to spam, market to, scrape, harvest or exploit them.
  • Follow all laws that apply to you.

We can suspend or remove your access at any time if you break these rules or if we think you may pose a risk to others. You can report or block another person, or remove your own profile, at any time by contacting hello@all-along.com or using the in-product controls.

4. We do not check or vet anyone

This is important, so please read it carefully.

We do not run background checks, criminal record checks, identity checks or any other screening on the people you may be matched with. We do not verify that anyone is who they say they are, or that anything in their profile is true. Anyone you are matched with is a stranger, and you are responsible for deciding whether, how and where to interact with them.

5. Meeting other people is at your own risk

You understand and agree that:

  • Any contact, communication, meeting or relationship with another person introduced through the service - online or in person, during or after the event - is entirely your own choice and at your own risk.
  • We are not responsible for the conduct of any other person, whether on or off the platform. This includes any harassment, abuse, threats, discrimination, dishonesty, misrepresentation, fraud, theft, injury, illness, death, emotional distress, or any other harm of any kind.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release us from, and agree not to bring against us, any claim or demand of any kind arising out of or connected to another person's conduct or to any meeting or interaction that results from a match.

You agree to use common sense and ordinary caution when meeting anyone new - for example, meeting in a public place, telling someone you trust where you're going, and not sharing sensitive personal or financial information. We may publish safety guidance, but following it is your responsibility and it doesn't make us responsible for what happens.

6. Your data and privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our privacy policy at all-along.com/privacy. By completing a profile you consent to us using your information to match you with other people, and to showing your selected profile details to the people you're matched with. You can withdraw consent and have your profile removed at any time - this will stop future matching but can't recall information already shared with people you've been matched with. The privacy policy explains your rights to access, correct and delete your information, and how to exercise them.

7. Our content

All Along, its design and its matching technology are owned by us or licensed to us. You may use the service only as these terms allow.

8. Our liability to you

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We provide the service "as is". We don't guarantee any particular match, outcome, introduction, or that anyone you're matched with is suitable, safe, honest or who they claim to be.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss, or for any loss or harm arising from the conduct of another person or from any meeting or interaction that results from a match.
  • If, despite the rest of these terms, we are found liable to you for anything, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us to use the service. Attendees are normally invited by an organiser at no cost to themselves, so this is usually nothing.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including (where they apply) the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction. Some places do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above may not apply to you - in which case our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

9. You indemnify us

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover us (including our reasonable legal costs) against any claim brought against us by another person to the extent it arises from your conduct, your breach of these terms, or your interactions with anyone you met through the service. This clause survives the end of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. This doesn't affect any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your own country.

12. General

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions or safety concerns? Contact us at hello@all-along.com.

All Along is based in Victoria, Australia.
